Practice

  • I offer individual psychoanalytic psychotherapy for adults. Sessions are usually held online via Zoom, and in person where available.

This is a regular, ongoing form of therapy. We pay attention to patterns that repeat over time, how relationships are experienced, and what emerges between sessions. The aim is a steadier understanding of what is driving difficulty and how it is maintained.

  • This work may be helpful if you:

    • find yourself repeating patterns in relationships

    • feel stuck, flat, or reactive without a clear reason

    • want to understand the emotional logic behind symptoms, not only manage them

    • can commit to meeting regularly over time

  • This approach may not be the right fit if you:

    • are looking primarily for brief techniques, structured homework, or a short program

    • need urgent crisis support

    • cannot attend sessions regularly at this time

ⓘ If you need immediate support, please contact local emergency services or a local crisis service in your area.

  • This is a talking therapy that pays attention to recurring patterns, feelings, and ways of relating. We work with what emerges in the room over time, not only with the situation of the week.

  • Fees are available on request.

Appointments are reserved specifically for you. If a session is missed or cancelled, the fee still applies, regardless of the reason or the amount of notice given.

  • Confidentiality is central to the work. There are standard limits where disclosure may be required by law or necessary for safety.

For online sessions, I use reasonable measures to protect privacy. I also encourage you to choose a private, quiet space on your side.

  • If you would like to enquire, please email with:

    • a short description of what brings you now (2–4 lines is enough)

    • whether you are looking for ongoing work or an initial consultation

    • your time zone and typical availability

Response time: I usually reply within 2 business days.

We can then arrange a first session. In that meeting we clarify what you are seeking, discuss practicalities, and see whether the work feels like a good fit. If not, I will suggest alternatives where possible.

    • Session length: 50 minutes

    • Frequency: weekly sessions are the minimum, as the work depends on continuity. Other arrangements can be discussed where appropriate.
